Cocaine Anonymous (CA) is dedicated solely to helping individuals achieve and maintain personal recovery from addiction. Our purpose is to support those who seek freedom from cocaine and all other mind-altering substances through the shared experience and strength of the Fellowship.
CA does not take part in drug research, medical or psychiatric treatment, education, or any form of promotional activity. While some members may choose to engage in these fields on their own, such involvement is entirely independent of the Fellowship itself.
As part of our guiding principles, Cocaine Anonymous maintains a policy of “cooperation without affiliation.” This means that although we may work alongside other organisations that address addiction, we do not endorse, support, or align ourselves with any outside programme or initiative. CA remains completely neutral on public matters, including drug policy or legislation.
The Public Information Committee manages CA’s communication with professionals, treatment centres, community services, and others involved in supporting people affected by addiction. The committee’s aim is to promote mutual understanding and constructive cooperation between CA and those working in related fields.
